After leaving school I completed my trade of Carpentry and Joinery. After 5 and a half years of that I tried my hand at Car Audio for another 5 years - working my way from Installer to a Manager - but I always had an interest in how the body worked.
I have been working in the Allied health industry as a MSK Practitioner for over 20 years now. My initial interest, like many who get in to massage, was the use of an oil "Sports style" massage to help with musculo-skeletal injuries and working with athletes. As my studies continued I found the art of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in the form of Tuina Anmo - Chinese Remedial massage (Acupressure). With the guidance of my Mentor, Ivan McWilliams, I then developed a love for Acupuncture. I continue to grow and learn more techniques that can help and now find myself learning more about the world of applied neurology.
Over the years I have worked with many different people from all walks of life - everything from student/office worker to weekend warriors, exercise enthusiasts and elite athletes.
Some of the elite sporting teams I have worked with are, Port Power (AFL), Adelaide Lightning (WNBL), Adelaide 36ers (NBL), Boomers (Australian Basketball team), FDJ (International Pro Cycling team).
Along with the elite teams I have also worked with individual elite athletes including Olympians and World Champions.
My hobbies and interests Include cycling, coffee and basketball. I have been lucky enough to be involved in a few charity rides
